Post Workout Date Smoothie

Ingredients:

3/4 cup water 1 frozen banana 1 Medjool date 2 tbsp. raw cocoa powder 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup ice cubes 1 scoop protein of choice (I use Nutristrength vanilla whey isolate)


Remember to have your post workout meal/shake within 45 minutes of exercising to rebuild your muscle proteins and glycogen stores, and also stimulate growth of new muscles.
