Should you run for an hour to burn yesterday's calories OR weight train?!

Post cheat day, it is okay to bump up a calorie burn with a workout. However, don’t opt for an intense long cardio session to feel like you’ve balanced out the bad eating.

Endurance cardio sessions in combination with an improper diet will stress your body to the maximum. Stress overload causes the release of cortisol, which is a stress hormone that has promotes fat storage.

So don’t go crazy and just do an extra 10 minutes of cardio or add a couple of extra sets to your weight-training routine.
